Guest keynote creative direction
I led the creative direction and execution of visual support for guest keynote speakers, including George Clooney and Michelle Obama. Collaborating with the animation team at Sparks, we designed branded background loops that enhanced the stage presence without overshadowing our speakers.
Opening video
The opening video is a key general session moment, setting the tone and energizing attendees. I co-led its creative direction annually, collaborating closely with internal and external animators to craft a visually stunning moment that captivated our audience. I also facilitated stakeholder alignment by creating key frames and storyboards tailored for leadership review and approval.
Interstitial moments
We created interstitial moments between keynote speakers to spotlight our customer experience team, reinforcing our support for customers and giving them a fun chance to see their success managers on the big screen.
With tight timelines and resources, we leveraged existing in-house supplies, using bold, simple color backgrounds for impact on the big screen. I coordinated outfits with each cast member, mapping out the backgrounds they'd be filmed on to help them select complementary colors and styles. Animations were kept simple yet punchy, aligning with the vibrant color blocking.
Platform keynotes
Each year for Amplify, I collaborated across teams to showcase the platform’s latest innovations on stage. This months-long process involved working with product owners and UX designers, styling dynamic demos, coordinating complex animations with Sparks, and timing presentations with speakers. Our attention to detail and high production value consistently earns the platform keynotes top session satisfaction ratings among attendees.
Visionary keynotes
While I supported all visionary keynotes, I specifically led creative direction and execution for CEO Julie Iskow’s keynote, collaborating with her chief of staff and guiding ideas from concept to delivery. While I executed the majority of motion and transitions using Apple Keynote, I also worked closely with our animator to craft big animation moments and ensure one cohesive visual narrative.
Specialty digital signage
I collaborated with a team of animators to create branded specialty signage that welcomed attendees into the Amplify Hub. In a vast conference center, these custom visuals played a key role in building trust with customers and prospects, reinforcing a tech-forward brand experience.
